Kim Aldis is a retired digital special effects artist, 3D animator and photographer. He now lives near Torquay in the UK’s South Devon where he spends his time walking his dogs and photographing the people and landscapes of South Devon. He exhibits his work from time to time and has a permanent exhibition at a local restaurant. He takes commissions from time to time and he rather enjoys portraiture and photographing weddings. He has a degree level qualification in Creative Photography (London College of Printing, 1975-78). Kim is also a moderately accomplished drummer; he plays regularly at pubs and clubs around Torquay where he also annoys local musicians by pointing cameras at them.
