It’s not too demanding, apart from, arguably, the walk up the cliff from Watcombe beach, but the views across Lyme Bay on a good day can be stunning. Watch out in particular for the view across Oddicombe and Babbacombe beach onto Long Quarry.

Technically speaking cycles aren’t allowed on this route but I’ve done it many times and so long as you’re considerate no-one seems to mind.

It’s an enjoyable walk, not too strenuous with some fine views across Lyme Bay. On a good day you can see Portland Bill. Most days you can see across to Teignmouth,  Dawlish and Exmouth.
